'No Tee Time is Safe': White House Reporter Quotes Patch on Obama Visit

Thursday morning, White House reporter Keith Koffler posted a blog drawn almost entirely from the Vineyard's three leading news outlets: The Vineyard Gazette, the Martha's Vineyard Times and Martha's Vineyard Patch.

We weren't kidding when we told you the media are scrutinizing Martha's Vineyard during President Obama's vacation this week.


Thursday morning, White House reporter Keith Koffler posted a piece on his White House Dossier blog titled "Obama Vineyard Stay Harming Local Businesses."

The blog post is drawn almost entirely from the Vineyard's three leading news outlets: The Vineyard Gazette, the Martha's Vineyard Times and Martha's Vineyard Patch.

Koffler quoted extensively from Gazette and Times articles about impacts felt by local businesses during the presidential visit, and quoted the line "No tee time is safe" from the MV Patch article Obama Detours Traffic, Bumps Golfers on Vineyard Vacation.

(Confidential to Koffler: We're just plain Martha's Vineyard Patch, not "the" Martha's Vineyard Patch. Think Led Zeppelin, not the Beatles.)
