UPDATED: Chainsaw-Wielding Landlord Pleads Guilty on Martha's Vineyard

According to the Martha's Vineyard Times, the case stems from an early-morning rampage in June when the landlord revved up his chainsaw and brandished it over the heads of Bosnian tenants cowering in their basement dormitory.

Corrected from an earlier post that misspelled John A. Sensabaugh's name.

A 52-year-old Oak Bluffs landlord who has a court record of violent disputes with his tenants has pleaded guilty to assault with a deadly weapon, a chainsaw, reports the Martha's Vineyard Times.

Under the terms of his probation, John A. Sensabaugh must stay away from eight of his former tenants, pay restitution to five of them and remain alcohol-free, or he may be sent to jail, the newspaper reports.

According to an earlier Times report, the case stems from an early-morning rampage in June when Sensabaugh, apparently angered by tenants making noise, began demolishing lawn furniture and ramming a Bobcat into his house before revving up the chainsaw and brandishing it over the heads of two terrified Bosnian college students in their basement dormitory.
