Landlord's Alleged Chainsaw Rampage Reported in Oak Bluffs

According to the Martha's Vineyard Times, he allegedly began an early-morning reign of terror by demolishing lawn furniture and ramming a Bobcat into the house before revving up his chainsaw and brandishing it at cowering Bosnian students.

A 51-year-old Oak Bluffs man is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after two of the 12 foreign tenants living with him reported he invaded their rooms with a running chainsaw early June 18, according to the Martha's Vineyard Times.

John W. Sensabaugh "has a court record of disputes with his tenants," reports the Times, which covered his arraignment in Edgartown District Court.

According to the Times report, Sensenbaugh began his early-morning rampage,  said to be triggered by tenants making noise, by demolishing lawn furniture and ramming a Bobcat into the house before revving up his chainsaw and brandishing it over the heads of two terrified Bosnian college students in their basement dormitory.
