  2. Arts Martha's Vineyard's second annual Creative Economy Speaker Series kicks off Tuesday at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown. This bring-your-lunch series invites conversations about the Island's creative economy. This week, Lyz Crane of ArtPlace is the featured guest. 11:30 a.m., free admission, coffee and water.
  3. Edgartown School hosts a presentation on bullying and cyberbullying Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the cafeteria.
  4. Chilmark selectmen's meetings now begin at a new time, 7 p.m. This Tuesday, the board holds a public hearing on community development strategy, gets an update on Squibnicket Beach and discusses the solar project, among other business: Here's the full agenda.
  5. Johnny Hoy & the Bluefish post on Facebook: "We play the Ritz every Tuesday until you all stop coming...so keep coming! Also, we are open for holiday parties and NEW YEAR'S EVE, if anyone has any great plans for a party."
