Gourmet Shop Opens Doors in Vineyard Haven
The new LeRoux Gourmet on Main Street is where you'll find kitchen specialties including an oil and vinegar tasting bar with dozens of exotic flavors.
There's a new go-to address for Martha's Vineyard foodies: 13 Main St., Vineyard Haven, where LeRoux Gourmet opened its doors last week.
The two-level shop houses the many mouth-watering kitchen specialties formerly found on the ground floor of the three-story LeRoux at Home across the street at 62 Main: Sweet Sloops chocolates, fancy pastas, sauces and more.
Accessories include Vineyard-themed mugs and dish towels.

LeRoux Gourmet is also the new home of the LeRoux olive oil and vinegar tasting bar where customers can sample dozens of flavors.
The blackberry-ginger balsamic vinegar is her favorite, said customer Patrice Donofrio, a local artist who was shopping at LeRoux Gourmet Tuesday afternoon.

"I use it on everything," said Donofrio. "It's great over marinated beets."
Donofrio also recommends the espresso balsamic vinegar as "fabulous over salted caramel ice cream;" black cherry balsamic over fruit and dark chocolate balsamic "over anything."
