Vineyard Derby Results, Day 1

Sunday's leaders and links to all the results from the first day of the 2013 Martha's Vineyard Striped Bass & Bluefish Derby.

The Martha's Vineyard Striped Bass & Bluefish Derby got underway at one minute past midnight Sunday and runs till 10 p.m. Oct. 19. Here are the leaders from the first day, as reported on the Derby website and Facebook page:

  • All Tackle Boat Bonito: Chris T. Chandler, 8.27 pounds
  • All Tackle Boat Bluefish: Joseph Diodati, 14.76 pounds
  • All Tackle Shore Bluefish: Patrick S. Toomey, 12.24 pounds
  • All Tackle Boat Striped Bass: Ned Casey, 19.12 pounds
  • All Tackle Shore Striped Bass: Matthew J. Malowski, 19.65 pounds
  • Flyrod Boat Bluefish: Art Crago, 8.16 pounds
  • Junior All Tackle Boat Bonito: Mason Warburton, 7.86 pounds
  • Junior All Tackle Boat Bluefish: Dylan C. Kadison, 12.60 pounds
  • Junior All Tackle Shore Bluefish: Christopher T. Ferry, 2.97 pounds.
