Alex's Place, the premiere space for teens at the YMCA will host an eclectic weekend of activities for teens and the community.
On Friday evening, November 22nd, Alex's Place will host a dance for HIGH SCHOOL TEENS. Featuring reggae, hip-hop and top 40 the dance will begin at 8 pm and end at 10:30 pm. Teens will enjoy great sound and lighting in an awesome dance space. Admission is only $5. Please note: this dance is for high school teens only.
Then on Saturday, Alex's Place and Digital Connectors hosts its monthly ELDER TECH FAIR from 11 - 1 pm. The popular Fair brings teens and elders together to help navigate digital devices such as phones, tablets and laptops that elders may fine mystifying. Saturday night, join Ray Whitaker for an evening of trivia. TRIVIA NIGHT at Alex's Place will be a fun and laugh filled evening that is great for the entire family. Form teams and try to outwit your opponents and vie for the top prize. Topics will be culled from Current Events, Music, and a special video category, The EYES have it.Trivia Night begins at 7:30 and ALL AGES are welcomed. The event is free of charge (donations welcomed)
