Bars Now Open Later in Edgartown
And this Wednesday through Saturday, they're open later still.
From July 1 through Labor Day, Edgartown's bars may stay open until 1:30 a.m., a half-hour later than before, reports the Martha's Vineyard Times.
Last call is still at 12:30 a.m., except for the coming Fourth of July weekend, according to the Times: This Wednesday through Saturday, last call is at 1:15 a.m. and bars may stay open until 2 a.m.
Oak Bluffs bars regularly serve until 1 a.m., but close their doors to patrons at 12:30 a.m. to keep out booze commuters who might otherwise drive from Edgartown after closing time there, according to an earlier Times report.
