New Play Structure is Ready for Kids in Vineyard Haven's Veterans Park
Now your little ones can climb, slide and even make music on the new Vineyard Haven play set.
Just in time for the first day of school, the play structure that has been under construction in Vineyard Haven's Veterans Park was opened to the public Monday.
The new play set has two slides, a mini climbing wall and other things for little kids to dangle from and clamber.
There are also musical elements including plastic built-in bongo drums and metal tubular bells.
The new play structure was installed by the town of Tisbury, a town employee said as she sowed grass seed around its perimeter Monday afternoon.
