Today is the first day of Kid's Week at the Martha's Vineyard Savings Bank, as well as the beginning day for Spring vacation art classes at Featherstone.

  Five Things You Need to Know Today is a Patch column that provides readers with essential, daily information at a glance. 1. Kids week at the library kicks off on Monday at 10:30am at the Vineyard Haven branch of the MV Savings Bank.  The week's activities will include Story Time, refreshments and activities, like coloring and games, and fun for all. Baby lambs at the FARM Institute, Tony Horowitz at the MV Museum and a kitchen renovation at the West Tisbury School are all on the schedule for today

1. New baby lambs were been born at the FARM Institute yesterday.  Stop by for a look at the first Cotswold lambs! 2. Gleaners are needed again today. This time volunteers will be collecting and distributing potatoes. No digging is required. 2 pm. For more information, contact Jamie O’Gorman at jamie@islandgrown.org or 508-687-9603. 3. There will be a School Committee meeting at the West Tisbury School today in the school library. Important budgeting decisions will be made for next year.
