Festival of Wreaths Party is tonight at the the Federated Church in Edgartown. Bid on 75 fully decorated, natural wreaths, handmade on Martha's Vineyard. A Chinese-themed dinner at Park Corner Bistro
1. Fall Farm Hands for children ages 6-to-9-years-old is today at The Farm Institute in Edgartown. Children learn how to harvest produce and vegetables and cook and preserve them, take part in autumn-focused art projects, and participate in a wool dyeing workshop. Snack included, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. 2. The Polly Hill Arboretum Vistor Center will host A Walk Through Imagination and Artist Reception. The day after Patriot's day, and the second day of school vacation means that there's lots on the schedule for you to do. Here's a brief look at a few of today's events on Martha's Vineyard . . . 1. Today is the the Annual Trees of Light fundraiser, plus Vineyard Vines helps the Red Stocking Fund and there's toy-making in West Tisbury
1. There is a Holiday Greens Workshop today at the Tisbury Senior Center. Make a 12” balsam, boxwood, or table wreath or a fresh greens and flowers centerpiece. Presented by MV Florist. To reserve a seat, call 508-696-4205. 10 am – noon. $15-$20 for materials. 2. Vineyard Vines in Oak Bluffs is having an event to benefit the Red Stocking Fund today. Take 20% off and that 20% goes to the Red Stocking Fund.
