"Crash Reel," "Pussy Riot- A Punk Prayer," "May I Be Frank" and Ken Burns's "Central Park Five" are scheduled for the 13th annual Martha's Vineyard Film Festival weekend next month.
Friday, the Martha's Vineyard Film Festival (MVFF) announced its 2013 of films and guests for the 13th annual event March 15, 16 and 17 at the Chilmark Community Center. Passes are currently on sale on the Festival website. Highlights from the announcement include: “We’re always trying to push the conversation forward,” adds founder and Executive Director Thomas Bena. “We work hard to create an atmosphere that inspires people to dig a little deeper into the issues presented.” Working his culinary magic, chef Chris Fisher—whose exclusive “greenhouse” dinners at Chilmark’s Beetlebung Farm are Martha’s Vineyard’s hottest summer dining ticket—will create a daily locally inspired feast.
