Cape and Islands could see winds from 35-35 mph with gusts up to 58 mph
According to the National Weather Service, there is a high wind warning for the Cape and Islands tonight from 9 pm through 3 am tomorrow. The Weather Service reports that strong, possibly damaging southerly winds will occur tonight along the coast as an intensifying storm system passes over western New England. Winds are expected to be anywhere from 35-35 mph with gusts up to 58 mph. Possible downed trees, tree limbs, and power lines and scattered power outages are likely. Be sure to secure any loose outdoor objects.
