Cape Air Gets Only Female Airline President in U.S.
Linda Markham of Cape Air will soon become the only woman president of a North American airline.
When Linda Markham steps into her new position as president of Cape Air next month, she will become the only woman in the country to head an airline, according to the Boston Globe. The 49-year-old Marston Mills resident, currently the airline’s chief administration officer, will take over for current President Dave Bushy when he retires in March, according to a press release. Markham has worked with the airline since 2002 when she ran the human resources department, according to the Globe report.
