Megan Peeler is here for the summer from Worcester, MA and is keeping herself plenty busy bartending at the Beach Plum Inn in Menemsha and cleaning houses. We caught up with her between jobs at the 4th of July parade Q: How long have you been working on the Island? A. I've only been at The Beach Plum for a couple of weeks. Q. Are you in college? A. I go to Westfield State. I'm graduating next spring. Q. How did you end up on the Vineyard this summer? A. Well I had to get a job. I figured, if I'm going to be working 14 hour days, I might as well be on an island. Q. How many other jobs do you have? A. I also do housekeeping 5 days a week.
