Flag as Inappropriate

The Martha's Vineyard Museum is a quick walk from downtown Edgartown.  The Wampanoag Gallery showcases Native American history and artifacts and the Kid's Gallery has artwork and research projects from local Island children of all ages. The Carriage Shop contains historic vessels and vehicles, including a restored 1856 fire engine.  In the middle of the property stands the Fresnal Lens Tower which was previously used to light the historic Gay Head Lighthouse.  Guided lighthouse tours are offered and the lighthouses can also be rented for private events. The library on premise is open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
