Named after the famed stage actress, the Katharine Cornell Theater has hosted a variety of shows. The theater offers an intimate setting overlooking Main and Center Streets. Various nonprofit and educational organizations have selected this theater to present their concerts, films, lecture series and stage plays -- namely, the Martha's Vineyard Film Society and KCT Concerts. The town hall oversees bookings. Ticket information is available on respective event presenters' websites.

To all of our movie patrons, we are no longer screening films at the KCT, after opening the MV FilmRead More Center on September 6, 2012. Please see our separate listing for Martha's Vineyard Film Center. We do plan to continue to use the KCT theatre for our International Film Festival each year, the second weekend in September. Thanks for joining us for movies at the KCT from 2002 through to 2012. I will always be thankful to the Town of Tisbury for providing us a theatre at a very low rental rate, which made our early days possible. And for Hillary for making the KCT available to us scheduling wise on year-round basis. Thanks Richard
