Restaurants Closing, Opening on Martha's Vineyard

It's the time of year when some Island restaurants take a break, but dozens of others remain open. Here are some closings to be aware of in late January and into February, plus a link to our list of eateries that are open all winter.

Some restaurant updates for the Vineyard:

  • The Net Result is closed until an unspecified February date.
  • Linda Jean's is closing from Jan. 26 to March 6.
  • The Black Dog Bakery Café on State Road has reopened, but
  • The Black Dog Tavern posted on Facebook that "we are going to be closed from Monday January 27th thru Friday January 31st for a little grooming! After that we are planning on being OPEN everyday from 7am-4pm, serving our Brunch menu (we serve breakfast all day and start our lunch items at 11am). We will be serving dinner Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Evenings from 5pm -9pm! Spread the word that WE ARE NOT CLOSING for a long period of time this year! hope to see you!!"
  • Mocha Mott's in Oak Bluffs is closing Feb. 17 for renovations.
