The first flurry of seasonal restaurant closures came soon after Labor Day and by the Tuesday after Columbus Day, many of the Island's dining spots had closed their doors for the winter.
Other eateries have trimmed their hours, shortened their weeks and added tempting specials to lure off-season diners, including 2-for-1 meals and other deals such as Offshore Ale Company's "Free Lunch" cards.
