Written by Tony Lombardi - Alex's Place Community Connection:

Saturday night, Dec. 28, Alex's Place busts open the doors for a fabulous evening of powerhouse rock featuring two-thirds of the popular Los Angeles rock group No Small Children in concert.

No Small Children have been performing to packed houses in such places at L.A.'s Viper Room, House of Blues and a host of other popular venues. Here is your chance to hear their music in person at a rare East Coast performance.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for teens to hear guitarist/vocalist Lisa Parade and bassist/vocalist Joanie Pimental, two elementary-school teachers by day and rockers by night.

Alex's Place is located at the YMCA of Martha's Vineyard, 111R Edgartown Rd., Oak Bluffs and houses a state-of-the-art performance space with stage, sound and lighting, awesome fresh baked goodies and much more. Showtime is 7:30 pm; doors open at 7 p.m.
