Looking for some safe Halloween fun for kids on the Vineyard this weekend? Here are some activities we found on Facebook and in our Patch Events calendar:
Friday, Oct. 25, 2013
- Bring your little ones' pictures to the Aquinnah Public Library and the "scary-brarians" there will include them in their Halloween collage.
- Middle-School Dance at Alex's Place at the Y with blacklights, lasers, DJ music and a costume contest with prizes. 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., $5.
- Children's Halloween Party, Oak Bluffs Public Library, noon, free.
- Trick or treating in downtown Edgartown, participating businesses, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., free.
- Community Halloween Festival, Museum's Vineyard Haven Property: 151 Lagoon Pond Road, Vineyard Haven, noon to 3 p.m., free.
- Halloween Party for Kids, Vineyard Haven Public Library, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., costume parade finale, free.
