Christmas Comes to Oak Bluffs Saturday

If you're looking for festive fun this Saturday, Oak Bluffs is the place to be: From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., families can take part in a panorama of holiday activities including a "Spectacular & Spontaneous Puppet and Pet Parade." 

Here's the schedule, according to the Oak Bluffs Association, a group of member businesses sponsoring the events:

9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Holiday Bazaar, Oak Bluffs Senior Center

10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Holiday Oak Bluffs Open Market upstairs at Dreamland. Live music, Santa, vendors.

Noon - 3 p.m. Free Horse-Drawn Hayrides, corner of East Chop Drive and New York Ave.

2 p.m. Spectacular & Spontaneous Puppet and Pet Parade: All are welcome to join in at the foot of Circuit Avenue.

3 p.m. - 4 p.m. Bell Ringers at Post Office Square

4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Island Chorus Carolers at Offshore Ale

3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Family Holiday Party at Offshore Ale: Cookie decorating, ornament making, live music.

The Oak Bluffs Association is also holding a "Santa Sweepstakes" raffle through Dec. 20:
