Monday Essentials: Plan Your Week on Martha's Vineyard

What's happening on Martha's Vineyard as the week begins? Here are some tips to start you off, and you can find many more things to do in our Events calendar.


Monday, Aug. 5, 2013

Along with its regular day-camp nature programs, Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary hosts a pair of events this morning geared for young naturalists and their parents: Seashore Discovery ($6 members, $9 non-members) and Tank Time (free to members; non-members $4 adult, $3 child). Both activities run from 10 to 11 a.m. and pre-registration is not required. Click here for more upcoming Mass Audubon/Felix Neck wildlife programs.

The All Island Art Show takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs.

Musical Mondays continue at Featherstone Center for the Arts with Good Night Louise and Jemima James at 6 p.m.: Bring a chair or blanket.

The Vineyard Playhouse Presents The Monday Night Special: The Second Girl, 7 p.m.

An Evening of Poetry with Jorie Graham and Fanny Howe begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Martha's Vineyard Film Center.

Tuesday, Aug. 6:

Harlem Fine Arts Show  Pre-Event Show Breakfast at Hooked Restaurant, 9 a.m.

African Crafts Sale and Puppet Show:  Jewelry, baskets, fabrics, carvings, and more! 10 a.m., West Tisbury Grange
