South Beach Reopened at Swimmers' Own Risk

South Beach in Edgartown reopened to swimmers Thursday morning, according to a 9:30 a.m. announcement from the town.

Swimmers are cautioned that they enter the water at their own risk and to keep an eye out for venomous Portuguese Man o' War siphonophores, which reportedly sent two people to the hospital with stings Wednesday.
