MV Chamber Announces Winners of Island Book Cover Contest
Six 6th graders' art was chosen to grace the cover of the 2012-2013 Island Book
The Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of the 2012-2013 Island Book Cover art contest. All 6th graders were invited to submit their creations of “Island Treasures.” The imaginative, creative, and colorful artwork challenged the judges with the most difficult task of selecting only six entries. After much deliberation, the following artists were chosen:
Nic Andre – West Tisbury School

Keith Chatinover – Martha’s Vineyard Charter School

Jacob Gundersen – Edgartown School
Elizabeth Williamson – Tisbury School
Each winner will receive a $50 gift certificate from the in addition to having his or her entry appear on the cover of the 2012-2013 Martha’s Vineyard Chamber of Commerce Island Book.
