It's Turtle Time Again on Martha's Vineyard

Warmed by the sun after a winter under wraps, the turtles of Martha's Vineyard are on the move. Have you spotted a painted turtle on the Vineyard? Tell us in the comments and post a photo if you have one.

Late spring is turtle time, when the Vineyard's turtles seek their summer ponds after a winter of suspended animation in the cold.

This painted turtle was strolling along Cottage Street in Edgartown Sunday afternoon, but declined to give Patch an interview.
