Everyone who has ever entered a piece of art, a pie or a beloved chicken into the Agricultural Fair, and won a blue ribbon for their efforts, has a story to tell.
The only blue ribbon I ever won was for an "Island Wild Flower Book" I made with a family friend when I was six-years-old. It remains the only blue ribbon I ever won and I'm proud to say that I still have it and the wild flower book.
We want to know about the time you won a blue ribbon. Are you one of those win-at-least-two-every-year kind of winners? Do your lambs take away the coveted blue prize each summer? Or are you a once-in-a-lifetime winner like me? Have you never been able to make your beach plum jam the same as you did the year it got you a blue ribbon? Tell us your blue ribbon story in the comments!
