2nd Annual Cool Pool Parties to benefit the YMCA Kick Off July 28th

The YMCA Cool Pool parties allow guests to take a peek into some of the most beautiful properties on the Island and enjoy a variety of island entertainment, sips and savories while supporting the YMCA – the Island’s year round community center.

The event will showcase the Island’s young talent. The YMCA of Martha's Vineyard Camp Blue will be sharing their accomplishments at camp this year as well as their favorite things about the Y.

Here’s how the Cool Pool Parties work. You can get your tickets at TicketsMV and the . Guests should reserve tickets early to be sure they get the party of their choice. At the time of purchase, you specify your choice of party.

The first set of Cool Pool Parties take place on Saturday, July 28th from 7 pm – 10 pm and party choices are as follows:

Bash on Hatch – Hatch Road, Vineyard Haven – Guests will dance the night away to the sultry pop music of the NYC based band "Andy Suzuki & The Method," making their premier on Martha’s Vineyard.  The band’s eclectic instrumentation, featuring electric violin, djembe, and piano, pushes the boundaries of the acoustic singer-songwriter genre and has been garnering rave reviews across the country.  Hor d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided by and Vita Coco. Take Me Out to… Menemsha - Menemsha Hills – Guests will enjoy spectacular views overlooking the village and harbor of Menemsha and its famous sunsets.  will arrive as special guests and more.  The will be on the mound with pinch hitting.  Beverages will be provided from and Vita Coco. (Hosted by Julie Flanders and Sarah & Bob Nixon)

Olympics on the Waterfront - Herring Creek Farm, Edgartown – Guests will be "Welcomed to London" and enjoy water polo games from YMCA swim teams overlooking the Katama waterfront.  Guests will dance to DJ beats while celebrating the Olympics on the big screen.  American buffet will be provided by Jaime Hamlin and Sons and Vita Coco. (Hosted by Mary & Dan Stanton, Charlotte & John Klein, and Susan and Jim Swartz)
