Martha's Vineyard Sharks Named Baseball League's Top Organization

Last month, they became league champions, for the first time in their four-season history.

Now the Martha's Vineyard Sharks are winners again: The Futures Collegiate Baseball League has named the team its top organization, according to BallparkDigest.com.

"One of the original four teams in the FCBL, the Sharks made some drastic changes to the 'Shark Tank' to improve their fan experience," reports the site, including

  • lights for night games
  • 290 seats from Camden Yards
  • added press box
Game attendance was up approximately 15 percent in 2013, BaseballDigest.com reports.

Earlier this month, four Sharks were named to the league's post-season All-Star team.
