Island Cup 2013: What You Need to Know For This Year's Game
The hallowed football rivalry takes place on Nantucket this year.
This year's Island Cup takes place in Nantucket. If you're making the journey over for the game, here's what you need to know:
The game is at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Vitto Capizzo Stadium.
There's a special "fan boat" that leaves from Vineyard Haven Steamship Dock at 7 a.m. Saturday. The return boat leaves Nantucket Wharf at 4:15 p.m. Click here for tickets, which are $20 for students, seniors and kids, $30 for adults.
If you can't make it in person, you can listen to play-by-play online at capeandislandsports.com. 97.7 FM will also be broadcasting the game.
This year the Vineyarders bring a 4-6 mark into the longtime rivalry. The host Whalers are 5-5.
