The 10th Annual Vineyard Streetball Classic, a 3-on-3
basketball tournament, is slated for Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Niantic Park in
Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard. Opening rounds begin at 10 a.m.
Boys and Girls ages 10 to 18 can compete. Each
team of three to five players battles through a series of double-elimination
rounds with the top teams in each division (10-12),(13-14)&(15-18)receiving
trophies at the end of the day. All players will be rewarded for their efforts
with a Vineyard Streetball Classic tee shirt, lunch and drinks. Players and volunteers may also win trophies
by participating in the half-court and free throw competitions. Online registration and forms are available

The staff of the Vineyard Streetball Classic tournament has
lifelong ties to the island community. “We are all summer or past residents of
the island, having grown up at the Niantic Park courts and summer league
