Caroline Kennedy, Husband Donate Land on Martha's Vineyard
The Island's most famous landowner has donated more than a dozen parcels of property along Moshup Trail to the Vineyard Conservation Society, Island newspapers report.
Martha's Vineyard landowners Caroline Kennedy and her husband Edwin Schlossberg, through their Red Gate Farm LLC, have donated a total of 30 acres of their Aquinnah property to the Vineyard Conservation Society, Island newspapers report.
The 17 unspoiled parcels along Moshup Trail are assessed at $3.7 million, according to the reports.

In November, Kennedy became U.S. Ambassador to Japan. She and her family own more than 300 acres of Aquinnah land known as Red Gate Farm, former property of Kennedy's late mother Jacqueline Onassis. Two parcels of that property went on the market last May.
