Poll: Do You Think the New Redistricting Will Have an Effect On the Island?
Island is now part of the new 9th Congressional district, will it matter?
The new redistricting plan has forced Representative Keating to change his residency from Quincy to his family home on Cape Cod. According to a story in the Boston Herald, Keating said, “I hope the residents of my current district — from Quincy to Provincetown and the Islands — know that their wellbeing is my primary concern, and nothing changes that. I look forward to continuing to represent the people I am currently serving, as well as the new communities."
