West Tisbury Conservation Commission Meeting

Approval of Minutes: February 28th

Hearings/Meetings:

Map 14 Lot 1/DEP File # SE79-292: reopen a public hearing under the requirements of G.L. Ch. 131 S 40, as amended (DEP Policy DWW Policy 85-4) and the West Tisbury Wetlands Protection Bylaw on a request to amend an Order of Conditions issued to Seven Gates Farm Corporation owners of the property located at 35 Forest Road. The applicant would like to amend the Order to permit the reconstruction of the Saltworks Pier from the beach rather than from the water.

Map 24 Lot 1/SE79-322: Continuance of a public hearing under the requirements of G.L. Ch.131 S 40, as to amend the West Tisbury Wetlands Protection Bylaw and regulations to consider a Notice of Intent filed by the Martha’s Vineyard Land Bank for property known as Waskosim’s Rock Reservation located at 320 North Road. The applicant proposes to mow, clear and maintain 1.5 acres of Buffer Zone to a Bordering Vegtated Wetland in order to create an oak savanna.
