Keating Announced as Winner of Democratic Primary Against Sam Sutter
Redrawn 9th Congressional District contest goes to Keating
According to the Cape Cod Times, Freshman U.S. Rep. William Keating won the Democratic primary against Bristol District Attorney Sam Sutter.
The redrawn 9th Congressional District includes Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and much of the South Shore. “Keating had to move his main residence from Quincy to Bourne to run in the redrawn district” reported the Times.
Keating will face the winner of Thursday’s Republican primary race between Adam Chaprales and Christopher Sheldon in November.
