How Dry Has it Been This October?

Now that the federal shutdown has ended, the U.S. National Weather Service in Boston is again posting frequent weather and climate updates on Facebook.

It's been a drier-than-normal month across our region, according to the U.S. National Weather Service in Boston, which posted on its Facebook page Tuesday that "many locations have 2 inch+ rainfall deficits so far this October."

Apart from Wednesday's expected rainfall, the NWS posted, the next week is expected to be dry.
