Chilmark Heads to Polls

Annual election includes pond study spending and roundabout vote

This afternoon, Chilmark voters will vote in their annual town election following their town meeting this past Monday night. There are four questions on the ballot this year. Three are spending items related to repairs at the West Tisbury School and funding for two Massachusetts Estuary Project pond studies.

Chilmark voters will also cast their vote on the non-binding referendum on the proposed Oak Bluffs roundabout.

Finally, Chilmark Store owner Bill Rossi runs unopposed for an open seat on the board of selectmen vacated by Frank Fenner.
