Vineyard Man Arrested Twice Monday, Barnstable Police Say

Christopher James Koch is back in hot water with Barnstable police, who say they arrested him twice Monday and once on Feb. 1 when they issued him a summons for credit card larceny and arrested him for shoplifting eight hours later.

From the log of the Barnstable Police Department for Feb. 11, 2013. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction:

Police arrested Christine D. Hurley, 22 of Hyannis, and Christopher James Koch, 34 of Martha’s Vineyard while responding to a report of larceny at Verizon Wireless on Iyannough Rd. at 1:48 p.m. Hurley was charged with larceny of property over $250. Koch was charged with larceny of property over $250.

Police arrested Christine D. Hurley, 22 of Hyannis, and Christopher James Koch, 34 of Martha’s Vineyard while responding to a report of a suspicious person at CVS on North St. at 11:42 p.m. Hurley was charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Koch was charged with trespassing on land, dwelling.

On Feb. 1, according to Barnstable police,

Police issued a summons to Christopher James Koch, 34 of Martha’s Vineyard while following up on a previous case on Phinney’s Lane at 9:52 a.m. Koch was charged with larceny of a credit card and unlawful use of a credit card.

Police arrested Christine D. Hurley, 31 of Hyannis and Christopher James Koch, 34 of Martha’s Vineyard while responding to a report of shoplifting at Sears at 6:13 p.m. Hurley was charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise, possession of burglarious tools and also arrested on four outstanding warrants. Koch was charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

Arrest information does not indicate convictions.
