Missing Teen Alyssa Whitney Found Safe
The Oak Bluffs teen was reported missing this week.
Alyssa Whitney, a 15-year-old reported missing in Oak Bluffs this week, was found safe.
"She was last seen in Oak Bluffs at her school bus stop on County Road," police said in a statement Wednesday. "School officials are unsure if she ever made it to school. She was marked absent and wasn't seen on school property.
"Her parents believe that she may be in the company of an older male who is driving her around."
NECN.com reported Thursday she was found safe.
