Head-On Crash Reported in Oak Bluffs

Traffic backed up as police detoured motorists away from the Beach Road crash site Monday afternoon, according to the Vineyard Gazette.

Beach Road in Oak Bluffs was closed for about an hour Monday after a sedan hit a taxi head-on near Hooked restaurant at around 1 p.m., reports the Vineyard Gazette.

There were no injuries, but the newspaper reports that police are investigating the possibility that the driver of the sedan may have been "impaired."
