Popular Trivia Challenge Returns to Alex's Place at the Y

In an effort to reach out beyond teenagers, Alex's Place periodically hosts events for the community at large. Alex's Place believes it is important to build a bridge between teens and adults and events such as the up-coming Trivia Challenge on Saturday March 22nd is one such event.

In addition, Alex's Place is partnering with The MV Youth Task Force's Project Next, an effort to reach out to 18 - 26 year olds with alternative events and activities.

"It is our hope that the greater community, especially those between the ages of 18 - 26, will attend these events along with the community of teens. The Vineyard has always been a place where inter-generational events are popular and we are hoping this will be the case with events such as Trivia Challenge." According to Alex's Place Director, Tony Lombardi.

Trivia Challenge takes place this Saturday night at 7 pm. Form a four person team to compete in multi-topic competition in an alcohol-free environment. Great freshly baked treats, french press coffee and more are available for all in attendance and there are prizes donated by Project Next for first and second place teams.

Hosted by Ray Whitaker who is an energetic, humorous presenter, this event is a great way for the community to come together and it is free of charge. (Donations welcomed)
