Open Stage (open mic) has always been a tradition on our island.On Friday, October 4th Alex's Place at the Y will once again host its popular Community Open Stage once per month on the First Friday of the month (Next up this Friday, October 4th). Community Open Stage is not just for teens - it is for the entire community. So no matter your age - come and take the stage - perform or be a part of the audience in our comfortable, candle - lit performance space known as THE BASE. Doors open at 7:30 pm and showtime is 8pm with a $5 admission. We even have instruments for you to use if you like. Great freshly prepared goodies also await you.
