Fast becoming an island tradition, Community Open Stage First Friday will take place this Friday at 8 pm at Alex's Place at the YMCA of MV.
Known for its great sound and lighting, intimate listening room, great snacks, Alex's Place Community Open Stage is a truly fun Island event. Adults, teens and the entire community are invited to perform or be a part of the audience. Admission is only $5 and helps support the on-going programs at Alex's Place.
This Friday a special opening performance by renowned Rhode Island hip hop crew "Case Closed" will kick off the evening on the foot heels of a special workshop they will hold that afternoon at Alex's for teens. Following their performance the stage is open to all who wish to perform. Please arrive at 7:30 to sign up for a spot. Case Closed is presented in collaboration with our friends at The Yard
