Community Corner

Elder Tech Fair Returns to Alex's Place at the Y.

On February 1st from 11am to 1pm teens who are participating in the Comcast sponsored Digital Literacy Program "DIGITAL CONNECTORS as well as alumni from past programs will gather to offer a hand to our elder community as they navigate the digital territory. ELDER TECH FAIR has been a wildly popular event that occurs several times a year and has helped folks learn the ins and outs of their smartphone, laptop and tablet. The teens who volunteer their time to this effort receive community service hours which are a requirement of Digital Connectors, but even those who are past graduates return to lend a hand.

Elder Tech Fair is for elders (60+) and is free of charge. Coffee and refreshments are served.

Reservations are required. Please call 508 - 693 - 1676 to reserve your spot.

Digital Connectors is sponsored by Comcast.
Alex's Place exists due to the generosity and commitment of the Alexandra MM Gagnon Foundation and many other supportive organizations, businesses and individuals.
