Cape Cod's Biggest Blues Fest Returns to Sea Crest Beach Hotel Memorial Day Weekend, May 24

The biggest blues festival on Cape Cod will return to the Cape’s quintessential beach hotel Memorial Day Weekend. Hosted by Sea Crest Beach Hotel with The Reel Blues Fest and 92.7 MVY Radio, the May 24 event will bring together greats in folk, blues and jazz featuring Jonathan Edwards and The James Montgomery Band with Grace Kelly, and guest musicians from the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra. The show will take place in the hotel’s newly renovated Nauset Center, Cape Cod’s largest event space, starting at 7:30 p.m. This is the third year that The Reel Blues Fest will be held at Sea Crest Beach Hotel. The 2012 and 2013 concerts were sold-out shows.

Blues fans can make a weekend of the anticipated event with Sea Crest’s Reel Blues Festival Package. Starting at $559, guests will receive two night’s accommodations and two festival tickets. Rates are based on a two- night minimum with a Friday, May 23 or Saturday, May 24 arrival, and include all taxes. Additional nights are available from $170 on Thursday and $269 on Sunday. Package is based on availability.

General admission tickets to the Reel Blues Fest are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. VIP tickets, which include VIP seating and a meet-and-greet following the show, are $50.

Founded in 2001 as a joint effort between the Woods Hole Film Festival and the New England Blues Society, the nonprofit Reel Blues Fest is dedicated to helping musicians receive access to medical care and to supporting the work of independent filmmakers. The organization has presented music and film events throughout Massachusetts.
