Memorial for Don Patrick Set for Nov. 16

Donald Wayne Patrick, who died in September at 71, cooked at the Dock Street Coffee Shop in Edgartown for more than a quarter-century, according to his obituary in the Martha's Vineyard Times. Friends will celebrate his life Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.

Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Legion Hall in Vineyard Haven, Islanders will say goodbye to Donald Wayne Patrick, who died Sept. 26 at 71.

Patrick, an Alcoholics Anonymous elder and Island resident for more than 30 years, cooked at the Black Dog and long-gone Helios restaurant before stepping behind the grill at the Dock Street Coffee Shop 26 years ago, according to his obituary in the Martha's Vineyard Times.
