Beatie Crume Lamb, 92, Moved to Island After WW2

After serving in the Navy, Lamb moved to Martha's Vineyard, where he began what would become a 30-year career with AT&T.

Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Homes has announced the Jan. 14 death of Beatie Crume Lamb, 92, who lived on Martha's Vineyard for 20 years following his service in the Navy during World War II.

A Mason and Shriner, Lamb moved to South Carolina in the 1980s after working for AT&T for 30 years on the Vineyard and in Taunton, according to his obituary.
