Bramhall & Dunn is closing its doors, flu shots are available for all, and the Occupy Movement comes to the Blinker today

We’ve got heartbreaking news for the many who love the classic Island look brought to you care of Bramhall and Dunn in Vineyard Haven: after 28 years on Main Street, they’re closing the doors for good. In order to make lemonade from those lemons, come to the party/sale today in the store from 10 am – 8 pm.
  2. Today is the last day of CSA pick-ups at . After this week, there will be one more pickup on the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving, November 21st and 22nd. All pickup days are from 10am to 6pm.
  3. The is offering an today at the . Walkers, VTA riders and bikers may go directly to the school. All others will be picked up at one of two staging areas and driven to the high school. Staging areas are in Waban Park, Oak Bluffs and at the in West Tisbury. 8 am to 12 noon. Free
  4. Occupy Together Martha’s Vineyard will be staging an action this morning from 7 am – 9 am at the “Blinker” (Corner of Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Rd and Barnes Rd) to call attention to the Occupy movement. All are welcome
