2. The Boys & Girls Club has their 15th Annual 20 Miler Road Race today beginning at 11 am. The starting line is at the Vineyard Haven Steamship Authority and the finish is at the Oak Bluffs School. Runners may register as late as the morning of the race, if space is still available. Participation is limited to 500. 3. The Martha’s Vineyard chapter of the NAACP is having a Martin Luther King Jr. Membership and Awards Dinner tonight at the Grill on Main in Edgartown. Dinner features a conversation on civil rights with Lucy Hackney, Rose Styron, and Betty Rawlins. Tickets are $80 and include a membership to the MVNAACP. All are welcome. 5:30 pm.
