Holiday craft workshop, a really funny movie series and open darkroom studio are all happening today

1. The Scholastic Book Fair starts today at the in West Tisbury. Books available for all ages and proceeds go to benefit the school 9 am–3:30 pm. For more information, call 508-693-9900

2. There is a workshop this morning at called, "Different Children, Different Needs.” Presented by Jeanine Fitzgerald topics will include children’s behavior and development. 9:30 am –11:30 am, MVCS Board Room, Oak Bluffs. For more information, call 508-693-7900 ext 288.

3. Looking for ways to make gifts and give at the same time. Come to the Creations Studio, 23 Grove Avenue, Vineyard Haven today and next Monday for Holiday Workshops to Benefit Heifer International. Sense of Wonder is donating the materials: Sculpey, Fabric, (sewing machine), Silk Scarves for painting, canvas, floor cloths and placemats, canvas panels, and more. There will be a table full of decorations to choose from, ornaments, mosaics, paint, Papier Mache’, Puppets, and more. Reservations are necessary and space is limited, so sign up soon. 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm. The cost is a $20 donation per person. All the proceeds go to Heifer International. 4. The Silent Film Classics series of November is over but every Monday for the month of December and into January, the presents a Really Funny Movie Series. Tonight the really funny movie is Anchorman starring Will Ferrell. Free and open to the public. Popcorn included. 7 pm. For more information, call 508-693-3366

5. Featherstone has a new addition to Mondays this month: Open Darkroom Studio with David Welch 7 pm - 9 pm at Featherstone in Oak Bluffs.
